How do I make my teeth whiter and stronger without any medical surgery of some sort?

So I have whitish but a bit yellowish teeth. I want to make it whiter and stronger. I thought of using much toothpaste(Colgate) but it seems not working. Is there any other way instead of a dental surgery of some sort to fix my weak and yellowish teeth? Please post links, websites, what do I do and anything that could help of course.

      For effective removal of the yellow tinge some people have naturally yellow teeth by accumulation of teeth which is due to remove any discoloration for healthy teeth you cant do much about that if you need to the yellow tinge some.
